The Flow EVM chain ID is 747 (0x2eb in hex). Flow EVM is the EVM-compatible side of the Flow blockchain. Gas is paid in FLOW. Below are the exact settings MetaMask asks for, public RPC endpoints we tested on October 27, 2026, and a one-click button to add the network.
Flow EVM Network Details for MetaMask
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Network name | Flow EVM |
| RPC URL | https://mainnet.evm.nodes.onflow.org |
| Chain ID | 747 |
| Currency symbol | FLOW |
| Block explorer | https://evm.flowscan.io |
Copy these values exactly. If the RPC URL returns a different chain ID than the one you enter, MetaMask stops with a chain ID mismatch warning: that usually means a typo or an RPC for another network.
Flow EVM RPC URLs (Tested October 27, 2026)
| RPC endpoint | Returned chain ID | Response time |
|---|---|---|
https://mainnet.evm.nodes.onflow.org | 747 | 285 ms |
We sent eth_chainId and eth_blockNumber to each endpoint from Europe on October 27, 2026; the table lists only endpoints that answered with chain ID 747. The latest block was 83,154,867. Public endpoints are free and rate limited: for an app or a bot, use a paid provider or your own node.
How to Add Flow EVM to MetaMask
- Click Add Flow EVM to MetaMask above, or open MetaMask and go to Networks → Add a custom network.
- Enter the network name Flow EVM, RPC URL
https://mainnet.evm.nodes.onflow.organd chain ID 747. - Set the currency symbol to FLOW and the block explorer to https://evm.flowscan.io.
- Save and switch to the new network. Your 0x address is the same as on other EVM networks.
Tip: Flow has two address types: Cadence addresses (16 hex characters) and EVM addresses (0x, 40 characters). MetaMask only works with the EVM side.
Flow EVM Testnet Testnet
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Network name | Flow EVM Testnet |
| RPC URL | https://testnet.evm.nodes.onflow.org |
| Chain ID | 545 (0x221) |
| Currency symbol | FLOW |
| Block explorer | https://evm-testnet.flowscan.io |
Testnet tokens come from faucets and are worth nothing. Do not send real FLOW to a wallet connected to Flow EVM Testnet.
How to Get FLOW on Flow EVM
The widget at the top of this page is set to swap into FLOW on Flow EVM: pick the token you have on another network, enter your address and sign once. Routes, fees and timing are covered in our Flow EVM bridge guide.
