To bridge BSC to Ethereum, choose your token on BNB Smart Chain as “from” and the token you want on Ethereum as “to”, review the route and confirm. Both networks use 0x addresses, so funds arrive at the same address. USDT on BNB Chain is BEP-20 Binance-Peg USDT; on Ethereum you receive ERC-20 USDT, and gas is paid in ETH.
Route at a Glance
| BNB Chain (source) | Ethereum (destination) | |
|---|---|---|
| Gas token | BNB | ETH |
| Token standard | BEP-20 | ERC-20 |
| USDT version | Binance-Peg USDT | Tether USDT |
| Address | 0x… | Same 0x… |
Step by Step
- Connect your wallet on BNB Chain.
- From: USDT, USDC or BNB on BNB Chain. To: USDT, USDC or ETH on Ethereum.
- Review the route, fees and amount received.
- Approve and confirm; add Ethereum to your wallet view if needed.
Tips
- Take some ETH: without ETH you cannot move tokens on Ethereum.
- Mind mainnet gas: moving small amounts to Ethereum can cost a noticeable share in gas; batch transfers.
- Exchange deposits: if the funds go to an exchange, pick the ERC-20 network on the exchange side.
Why the two USDT versions differ: USDT networks; Ethereum fees: ETH gas fees. Coming to BNB Chain from a cheaper network instead: Polygon to BSC; all routes are on the bridge hub.
