A crypto bridge moves tokens from one blockchain to another. With Step Exchange you pick from and to in the widget above; the route can use a bridge alone, or combine a swap and a bridge so you receive a different token on the destination network. Every transaction is signed in your own wallet, and the total cost, including gas, bridge fees and our 0.7% service fee, is shown before you confirm.

How a Bridge Transfer Works

  1. Choose the route: source network and token, destination network and token.
  2. Compare: the widget shows the routes found, with amount received and time.
  3. Approve and sign on the source network.
  4. Receive on the destination network; add the network to your wallet if needed.

FAQ

How do I bridge crypto to another network?

Choose the token and network you are sending from and the token and network you want to receive, review the route, cost and time, and confirm in your wallet. You need a little of the source network's gas token.

Which bridge does Step Exchange use?

Step Exchange routes through the LI.FI aggregator, which compares several bridges and DEXs for each transfer and picks a route by amount received and time.

How long does bridging take?

Most routes finish in seconds to a few minutes. Official rollup bridges are slower for withdrawals back to Ethereum, often about 7 days, which is why third-party routes are used for fast exits.

What do I need to bridge to Solana or Tron?

An address on the destination network: a Solana wallet for Solana or a Tron wallet for Tron. Between EVM networks, the same wallet address works on both sides.
